About the job
We are in the process of bringing EVU business and EVU administration together in one common EVU team in Education Services. With the new organization, we are pooling the competencies and creating a closer link between administration, data, business development and the strategic development of the area.
We have high ambitions for EVU and are therefore facing an exciting development of both collaboration formats, processes and task solving. At the same time, we must every day ensure a stable and professional administration of our education and course programs. Therefore we are looking for new colleagues who will contribute to ensuring that our continuing and further education is administered safely and professionally. You will become part of one unified EVU team, where we work across and together create good solutions for students, companies and our internal partners.
Your profile
You have a strong administrative profile and preferably experience with study administration. You are also curious about the context around your own task, the overall value chain, and you want to contribute to the development of our common EVU area. In addition, you can recognise yourself in the following:
You work in a structured, efficient way and with an eye for detail.
You create overview and ensure quality and progress in the administration of our continuing education and lifelong learning programs. You know what it means to solve tasks within a given set of rules and are good at getting 'something done' without compromising the quality of your work.
You are focused on creating good solutions together with others.
Our tasks cross disciplines and involve many internal and external partners. Therefore you must be able to build good relationships, be curious about others' perspectives and at the same time keep focus on the shared task. You have an eye for how workflows can be optimised, or how digital solutions can be used to create simpler processes and higher quality.
You thrive with variety and many collaboration relationships.
You can maintain an overview of several concurrent processes, prioritise your tasks and get acquainted with new subject areas and systems. You communicate clearly, precisely and courteously, both in writing and orally, and can see the value in sharing knowledge.
In addition, we expect that you have
- a relevant educational background in administration
- an interest in the education sector. Knowledge of the education sector is an advantage but not a requirement.
Your responsibilities
You will receive a task portfolio where operations, coordination and development go hand in hand. Your tasks may include, for example:
Administration of education and course programs.
You contribute to a safe and professional administration of our continuing and lifelong education. This includes, for example, enrolling students, establishing and running programs, administering exams, invoicing and issuing certificates. The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with colleagues in the EVU team as well as consultants, teachers and other partners across Absalon.
Development of processes and workflows.
You contribute to developing and improving work processes, tools and documents. We are focused on creating simpler and more coherent workflows, as well as using digital opportunities and data where it adds value. You should therefore be willing to challenge existing practices - including your own - and help translate new solutions into a daily routine that works.
Your colleagues
You will become part of our new unified EVU team in Education Services. Here we gather competencies within administration, guidance, contracts, data and business development around Absalon’s continuing and further education programs. We are about 20 employees with diverse professional backgrounds and experiences. We are in the process of creating our common working methods and developing collaboration across, and as a new colleague you will also have the opportunity to influence how we solve the tasks in the future.
We place emphasis on a strong sense of workplace community, where we share knowledge, help each other and take joint responsibility for the tasks. At the same time we have an informal tone and value a good laugh and a positive mood in the office. There is an option for up to two days of remote work, when it fits with the tasks and collaboration in the team.
Our joint workplace is Campus Slagelse, located right by Slagelse Station. Education Services consists of five teams and about 94 colleagues in total. In addition to EVU, Education Services handles, among other things, admissions, study administration and guidance for Absalon’s professional bachelor's and engineering programs. We are an informal department with strong professionalism and many collaboration interfaces across Absalon. Absalon also offers a lunch scheme, access to a gym and an active staff association.
