About the job

Section for Student Life and Guidance is seeking three team leaders. As a team leader you will play a central role in the development of the student life area and in supporting wellbeing and academic development among the section's staff.

About us

In Student Life and Guidance we are focused on supporting a good student life. We handle tasks within study and career counseling, start of studies, study environment, and communication to enrolled students.

The section consists of about 42 engaged staff members who work with a wide range of tasks in the student life area.

What you will be part of

The University of Copenhagen is undergoing a major transformation of the administration. Since March 2025 we have worked towards one common administration with three new campus administrations.

Student Life and Guidance is one of eight sections in Education South. The sections complement each other with tasks that cut across the educational domain, and together they must ensure that the administration works from uniform processes, common practices and a shared direction. Collaboration across sections is essential for us to succeed as one common administration.

We therefore focus on harmonising processes and workflows across the organisation. As a team leader you will play a central role in this work, while also handling daily personnel management.

In the section we place emphasis on cooperation, wellbeing and professional development. We maintain a good social working environment, and we have an informal tone and a high ceiling.

The role as team leader

As a team leader you will become part of the section's new management team together with the other two team leaders and the section head.

You will have personnel responsibility for about 7-12 employees and will be responsible for the daily management as well as prioritising and developing the tasks in your team. You will contribute to both operational and development tasks in the section in close collaboration with colleagues and partners across KU.

To succeed in the role it is important that you have strong relational skills, organisational understanding and the ability to translate needs and strategic goals into concrete solutions.
