A social- and health care assistant for Helhedsplejen

The holistic care service in Gladsaxe Municipality seeks an engaged and professionally strong social- and health helper for the evening shift

Do you want to contribute to ensuring that all elderly citizens in Gladsaxe Municipality have the opportunity to live a meaningful and independent life?

We are seeking a social- and health helper for the evening shift Wednesday-Thursday and every other weekend on even weeks for the Holistic Care in Gladsaxe, who would like to help create a good and pleasant work environment in a team with several new colleagues.

In Gladsaxe Municipality we have chosen to create multidisciplinary teams with both social- and health care assistants, social- and health helpers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses. Each evening shift team consists of 3 assistants and 4 helpers.

In 2025 we started delivering holistic care. This means that, in close collaboration with our multidisciplinary colleagues, we must increase the focus on working rehabilitatively in our daily work. We shall support the citizens to be as self-reliant as possible in everyday life, and they should be more involved in the support they receive.

We shall use our competencies and professional assessments in daily life, and practise involving different professional disciplines in the work with citizens. We shall make each other look good, and help each other create coherence in the citizen's journey.

From 1 January 2026 there have been two managers in the department, so there will be more time to support professional development and daily professional sparring.

We are in constant development, and continually work with implementing the latest knowledge and technology. We use KMD Nexus as our documentation system, and have implemented person-centered care as a management tool in our approach to citizens.

We place great emphasis on your professional skills, and therefore you will get a thorough introduction with a mentor program and opportunities for competency development.

We are also a training site for students and we have staff in training positions.

A dynamic workplace that is an education site for both SSH and SSA students. All employees are part of the students' training programme.

Our requirements for you

• You are educated social- and health helper
• You have experience from home care.
• You are professionally well-founded.
• You are used to working with IT – preferably with knowledge of Nexus, and you are thorough in your documentation.
• You can work independently and in a structured way in daily task solving.
• You have experience with, or a desire to, work multidisciplinary.
• You want to learn new things and develop your competencies.
• You take responsibility for your tasks, have an overview, and help colleagues who need it.
• You want to share your knowledge.
• You take co-responsibility in creating a good and pleasant working environment.

Salary and employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week, but if a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss a different number of hours, and it includes weekend shifts every 2nd weekend in even weeks.

You will be employed under the current collective agreement according to the principles of Ny Løn.
