About the job
Do you have an eye for detail, can you keep track of many different tasks, and at the same time meet people with curiosity and respect? Do you thrive with both administrative tasks and direct contact with people? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for?
We are seeking an employee who both thrives with administrative tasks and many touchpoints with colleagues. The primary task will be to support the guidance effort through collecting, recording, and following up on documentation, so we have the necessary basis for the ongoing guidance. You will have coordinating and supporting tasks in the overarching teaching effort.
You will become part of our school guidance team, where the tasks span a wide range. A significant part of your daily work will be administrative and consist of collecting and following up on documentation about, among other things, previous education, dyslexia tests, and other relevant information.
About the position
As an administrative employee you will be part of a multidisciplinary school guidance team. You will play a central role in creating an overview of the individual detainee's educational background and ensuring that relevant information is available for the overall effort.
You will have contact with various partners and authorities and must be able to create an overview of what information is missing, follow up on inquiries, and ensure that the documentation is collected and registered correctly.
The position involves collaboration with teachers, social workers, supervisors, guards and other staff based on a common plan for the detainee. You will also be able to liaise with municipal education counselors, educational institutions and job centers to support the transition to education after release.
An important part of the task will be to maintain and create an overview of, for example, flexible teaching positions, waiting lists, local utilization, etc., in close cooperation with our school coordinator.
In addition to the above, you will perform various administrative tasks that support the local management. The tasks may therefore vary and require that you are structured, independent, and have an eye for both details and the overall task solution.
Your main responsibilities will be
- Obtain documentation for previous education and other relevant information
- Obtain dyslexia tests and other relevant documentation
- Register and create an overview of the obtained documentation
- Contact relevant authorities, educational institutions and other partners
- Follow up on missing information and ensure progress in the individual cases
- Obtain educational documentation as part of the competence clarification
- Collaborate with teachers, social workers, supervisors, guards and other staff on the detainee's overall plan
- Collaborate with municipal education counselors, educational institutions and job centers on transitions to education after release
- Handle administrative tasks that support the local management
- Contribute to the daily guidance efforts as needed.
Who are you?
We imagine that you have experience with administration and case processing, preferably from the education sector or another relevant context. The most important is that you are eager for cross-cutting collaboration and at the same time enjoy administrative work.
You work in a structured and independent way and find it easy to create an overview, even when many different tasks are underway at the same time. You are persistent when it comes to following up on documentation, and you understand that details and correct registration are important for the continued work.
You must be able to engage constructively in multidisciplinary collaboration. You do not need to know everything from the start, but you should be curious, eager to learn, and able to see yourself in a daily life where administrative tasks and cross-disciplinary collaboration go hand in hand.
