Jobcenter Herlev seeks a results-oriented job advisor for a maternity cover from 1 January 2027.

In Team Jobservice we have a clear goal: Citizens in work – quickly and sustainably.

We work purposefully with unemployed recipients of unemployment benefits, job-ready welfare recipients and citizens on unemployment benefits. Our most important tools are job placements, close contact, frequent conversations and company-oriented activities, so we quickly create progression and job matching.

We are looking for you who want to make a real difference – and who are motivated to guide people into the labor market.

About the job

As a job advisor, your most important task is to get citizens into a job.

You do this through job-oriented conversations, concrete job placements and by supporting citizens in tailoring their job search so they can quickly return to work.

You are with them all the way – from the first interview to the first day at work.

We place emphasis on the following for you

• are motivated to get the unemployed into work
• work systematically and forward-looking with each individual citizen
• are clear in your communication and able to set direction
• have experience with conversations, e.g. via coaching or the motivational interview
• have good knowledge of the LAB law (or willingness to learn it quickly)

Your tasks

• Placement of citizens into concrete jobs
• Individual conversations focused on self-sufficiency
• Clarifying citizens' competencies and potential
• CV and job-search guidance
• Collaboration with unemployment insurance funds and other actors
• Case processing and authority tasks

About you

You may recognize yourself in the following

• passionate about getting the unemployed into work
• work systematically and responsibly – even when pace is high
• have knowledge of or interest in the labor market and its possibilities
• can collaborate broadly, with citizens, colleagues and unemployment funds
• thrive in a politically managed organization and can navigate rules and frameworks
• have strong IT skills and are preferably experienced with Fasit, which we use in our daily work
• you may be newly graduated – we will provide training and a good start

Salary and employment

Salaries are determined according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of new pay.
