Child and Youth Counselor (maternity leave cover) sought for Team West in the Center for Children and Youth in Næstved Municipality

One of our skilled Children and Youth advisers has sought new challenges, and the Center for Children and Youth in Næstved Municipality therefore has a vacant position as authority adviser in Team West.

We in the Center for Children and Youth are motivated by ensuring that as many children as possible have their development and well-being secured in the ordinary services, and that by earlier intervention and more frequent follow-up, we can prevent difficulties from developing.

Case processing within

• Preventive interventions under the Child Act § 30
• Child welfare assessments under the Child Act § 20
• Preventive measures under the Child Act § 32
• General advice and guidance

We are looking for a professionally skilled and engaged colleague, who

• is trained as a social worker or social educator (socialformidler) or other relevant education
• has experience with authorities in works with children and young people
• has a holistic view of case handling, is professionally creative and can think in alternative possibilities
• has good collaboration skills and possesses natural assertiveness
• can coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts and focuses on resources, involvement of networks and civil society
• can work in a structured, systematic and independent way in a busy everyday life
• has good oral and written communication skills
