About the job
Would you like to help lead and develop a highly specialized interdisciplinary pain center where the patient's overall life situation is at the center?
The Interdisciplinary Pain Center seeks a committed and development-oriented assistant chief nurse for a permanent position.
As an assistant chief nurse, you will be a central part of the management of a highly specialized outpatient service for people with chronic, complex pain. Together with the chief nurse and the chief physician you contribute to ensuring high professional quality, supporting development and creating the best conditions for both patients and staff.
You will be an important collaborative partner for the chief nurse and will act as deputy in cases of absence. The role therefore provides opportunities to work closely with clinical practice while also taking on leadership tasks and development initiatives.
About the Interdisciplinary Pain Center
The Interdisciplinary Pain Center is part of the Department of Anesthesia, Pain and Respiratory Support under the Neurocenter at Rigshospitalet. We treat patients with chronic, complex non-malignant pain and work from a bio-psycho-social understanding of pain, where the person is seen in their overall life situation rather than solely through physical symptoms.
We are a highly specialized outpatient service with about 30 staff. Nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers and healthcare administrators work closely together to create meaningful and coherent patient pathways. We also have a strong research environment and collaborate across Rigshospitalet's specialties.
Our culture is characterized by high professionalism, reflection, curiosity and a willingness to develop. At the same time, we work purposefully to develop our organization, patient offerings and workflows based on the ambitions for the Future Outpatient Clinic (Fremtidens Ambulatorium).

- Contribute to the work with the Future Outpatient Clinic and other strategic development initiatives
