Assistant Professor / Lecturer for the Electrician Training

Erhvervsakademi Dania in Randers is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated teacher for our electrical installer education. The teaching will take place in both our full-time programs and part-time/continuing education programs.

You will work in teams with talented and engaged colleagues in an exciting professional and pedagogical environment. The team develops, plans and conducts the teaching, and collaborates with several professional organizations and vocational schools.

Qualifications

Your educational background can be an engineer, marine engineer, installer, or another relevant technical, higher education. Dania is prepared to provide upskilling education.

If you have teaching experience from a business academy, a vocational school or other experience where you are used to communicating, that is a plus, but not a requirement.

Your professional experience lies in building installation and ideally in at least one of the areas:

• Building automation
• Electrical power systems
• Technical documentation and quality assurance
• The systems Revit and/or Bluebeam

We offer

A full-time position average 37 hours per week.

A portion of the working time is tied to specific times, but you also plan a significant part of your working time yourself, which may include remote work. Working hours are counted over a year, and the workload may vary over the academic year.

You are hired as an adjunct, if you are not already evaluated as a lecturer at a business academy or a professional bachelor's program. The job as adjunct/lecturer includes teaching and performing tasks related to teaching, research and development activities as well as international tasks. In addition, there will be tasks in internal and external professional cooperation forums and knowledge environments.

As a new adjunct you enter our lecturer program. The lecturer program must ensure that you, based on your competence profile and adjunct plan, develop yourself so that within four years you can qualify for a permanent position as a lecturer.

Employment

The position is full-time, and it is desired to be filled no later than February 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.

The workplace is Erhvervsakademi Dania with primary employment at campus Randers, Minervavej 63, 8960 Randers SØ.

Employment is conducted in accordance with the current state collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and either Academics in the State or LC/CO10. Final salary determination will be based on the level of competence and qualifications.
