Back-line foreman wanted for our mechanical workshop

Do you have an overview, technical understanding and a eye for efficient operations?

N. Kjær Bilcentret A/S is looking for a workshop supervisor for our back line in the mechanical workshop. You will play an important role in the daily coordination and planning of a number of workshop-related activities. You must ensure that tasks are planned correctly, followed through and delivered on time – with a focus on quality, efficiency and sound economics.

You will work closely with the workshop, sales and our other departments and gain a broad contact network in the company. You will also have the daily coordinating responsibility for technicians/ mechanics as well as employees in cosmetic preparation.

Your key tasks

• Plan and coordinate technical preparation, equipment installation, inspection and external builds
• Ensure efficient capacity utilization, productivity and on-time delivery
• Be responsible for cosmetic preparation and quality control
• Handle warranty work, service contracts and internal billing
• Be responsible for the daily operation and condition of the company's rental cars
• Coordinate more complex technical issue cases and ensure that they are followed through to completion
• Act as back-up for the customer-facing workshop managers

You will have the mandate to prioritize and reallocate tasks and resources within your area. We expect you to actively take ownership of progress, quality and solutions.

Who are you?

You probably have experience from a workshop or another technical operations organization and have a good understanding of workflows, planning and finances.

Experience as a workshop supervisor, team leader, warranty handler or technician is an advantage, but the right profile and approach to the task are highly valued.
