Are you a committed educational assistant who wants to make a difference for the children? We are currently looking for a new colleague for both kindergarten and nursery – who will join in the work we are actively engaged in.

A house in development – with room for your ideas

Trille-Tumle is a young children’s house. We are still shaping the culture and pedagogical practices we want to be known for. With us you should not just fit into something that is already finished. You should want to help develop it.

We have ambitions, we have will, and we know that we are not there yet. On the other hand, you have the opportunity to have real influence and help shape both everyday life, the sense of community, and our professional development.

You will become part of a diverse staff group with 28 colleagues who bring different experiences, competencies and perspectives into the community. What unites us all is a lot of drive and a desire to develop.

The professional foundation

Our shared pedagogical mantra is clear: "All children should feel seen, heard, met and understood." It’s not just words on a piece of paper. We are focused on creating a shared pedagogical foundation and are therefore in the process of implementing NEST, where we:

• Are actively building a common pedagogical foundation with a focus on clear boundaries, shared routines and a systematic approach to working with children in vulnerable positions.
• Actively work to translate our intentions into concrete actions, for example when we go to the playground, gather for a meal or participate in the children’s play.
• Believe that children do the best they can. When something is difficult, we are curious about what the child is trying to tell us, and what we as adults can do differently. We are focused on the idea that pedagogy is not only something we do in planned activities. It lives in relationships, in everyday small moments and in the choices we make together with the children.

Room for joint planning and a strong collegiality

Good pedagogy develops in collaboration and requires time and sparring. Therefore we prioritise teamwork highly:

• Weekly staff meetings with space for reflection, planning and professional sparring.
• 28 dedicated colleagues with different experiences and plenty of drive.

Who are you?

You want to use both your professional skills and your personality in daily life and are passionate about children's well-being, development and relationships.

You are curious about everyday practice, want to actively move with the children, and contribute positively to the community you become part of. Perhaps you have lots of experience from other day-care centers or perhaps this is your first job in a day-care. The most important thing is that you want to develop together with us.

Practical information

• The position is generally 37 hours per week.
• Employment from January 1, 2027 with the possibility of an earlier start.
• We are hiring for both nursery and kindergarten – please note in your application if you are only applying for one of them.
• Salary and terms of employment set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. We will obtain child and criminal records checks as well as references from previous employment in connection with the hire.
