Here at Flintehøj we have a strong working community where we make an effort in collaboration and good communication - we have fun together! We strive to ensure that every day is a good day, for both children and adults.

Flintehøj Børnehus became in 2025 a Nest-childcare, where we have four places in the kindergarten reserved for children within the autism spectrum. We work from the principle that what one child needs, all children receive. The whole nursery works according to the values and methods of Nest pedagogy, we believe that children - both with and without autism - thrive and develop best in safe and predictable environments.

About the job As an educational assistant you will be attached to a fixed room, but you will at the same time be part of a strong working community with . You must thrive on keeping many balls in the air, and enjoy engaging in many different relationships.

Part of what characterizes a Nest nursery is safe, manageable and developmental learning environments that provide participation opportunities for all children. The activities may be the same as in any other nursery, but our planning, systems and structure are built on Nest principles.

In Nest pedagogy there is a focus on strong team collaboration, a developing mindset and continuous learning. With us we never finish practicing, and we reflect on and are exploratory about our own practice. We work in a structured way with group divisions and weekly plans, and we are focused on our daily life being organized according to the Nest pedagogical principles.

Here at Flintehøj you will have a daily leader who is clear and present in daily life, and who leads from a systemic relational perspective, with the view that we only succeed in fellowship.

About Flintehøj Daycare

Flintehøj is a smaller daycare with two toddler groups and two kindergarten groups. Flintehøj is part of the seven daycares in the Bøgebakken area in Rudersdal Municipality. We are an area with engaged staff and an ambition to create safe and developmentally stimulating environments for the children. In Rudersdal Municipality we work from the motto: “We succeed only in fellowship”.

Flintehøjt daycare is located 150 meters from Vedbæk station and close to bus route 184.

Terms of employment The position is generally full-time and starts 4 January 2027. Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
