Become a Senior Platform Engineer and set the technical direction for intelligent automation

Would you set the technical direction for the platforms that drive intelligent automation across the Nykredit group? Are you motivated by combining platform engineering with strong governance to create mature and scalable capabilities? And by developing frameworks, standards and tools that enable the organization to build secure and value-creating solutions? Then you might be our new Senior Platform Engineer.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer who can take technical ownership of UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform and related Azure services. You will develop robust platforms, establish standards and guardrails, and ensure governance, security, stable operations and scalability, while also having the opportunity to influence the technical direction through professional ownership and sparring in the team.

Your key responsibilities will be

• Set the technical direction for UiPath Automation Suite, Microsoft Power Platform and related Azure services. You translate needs into a coherent architecture, clear standards and a realistic roadmap.
• Administer and further develop the platforms in day-to-day operations. This includes environments, access and roles, capacity, licenses, UiPath Orchestrator, robots and central platform configurations.
• Establish and enforce governance that enables professional developers and citizen developers to work securely and efficiently. Focus areas include compliance, DLP policies, lifecycle management and controlled scaling.
• Automate infrastructure and deliveries with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, and develop common platform services, integrations and reusable components.
• Ensure stable and scalable platforms through monitoring, observability, performance tracking and systematic improvements.
• Mature the AI capabilities of the platforms and translate new opportunities in UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform into secure, scalable and value-creating solutions with clear governance and usage frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and IT security on solution design, technical choices and appropriate use of the platforms.

You will have a role where you primarily own and develop the common platforms and at the same time raise the level across the area through architecture, governance and technical sparring. You will therefore not primarily develop standalone automations, but create the frameworks, services and tools that others build solutions on.

Technologies you will work with

You will primarily work with UiPath Automation Suite and Microsoft Power Platform in an Azure environment. The platform is built on AKS/Kubernetes, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Entra ID and Azure services. We automate infrastructure and deliveries with Bicep/Terraform, GitHub Actions, PowerShell and CLI tools. In addition, we develop common services and integrations using C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript and via APIs.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are seeking an experienced technical profile who takes ownership and thrives on developing platforms that others depend on in everyday work. You do not need to know all parts of our stack from the start, but we especially value that you:

• have solid practical experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD and can use the technologies to create automated and operation-stable platforms,
• have experience with administration and governance of Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath Automation Suite or relevant experience from comparable enterprise platforms and motivation to quickly learn them,
• can translate business and technical needs into architecture, standards and robust solutions that can be scaled and maintained over time,
• have a good understanding of integrations, identity and access management, security, observability and stable operation in complex IT environments,
• communicate complex technical topics clearly, take responsibility for decisions and collaborate constructively across development, architecture, security, infrastructure and business.

It is a plus if you also have experience with citizen development, Center of Excellence principles or development of internal platform products.
