About your upcoming workplace

At Denmark's Prisons you will work on modernizing the agency's architecture, infrastructure and systems so that they support an increased digitalization of Denmark's Prisons over the coming years. Denmark's Prisons is still at an early stage in the transformation, and you will therefore be able to contribute to making a difference early in the project lifecycles. You will early take an active part in the transformation that will ensure an increased focus on development.

You will be employed in the IT and Digitalization Department and will become part of a close professional community with our platform, solution, and system architects.

The positions are placed in the Office for IT Development and Infrastructure, which also includes system administrators and technical project managers.

It is an exciting time to become a solution architect in Denmark's Prisons. Our strategic architecture is under transformation, which includes among other things that we take more direct responsibility for our technical solutions – not least regarding Infrastructure and the technical platform.

We are moving toward more Open Source and technical sovereignty. In short, it is a transformation period with all the IT architectural tasks it implies, such as ensuring technical continuity in development and operation, and balancing functional and non-functional requirements on one side and capabilities on the other.

We have strengthened our technical IT-architecture capabilities, and now we want with this job advertisement to strengthen our ability to facilitate the interplay between business and the technical infrastructure. We envision for this position that you have the technical gravitas to understand Denmark's Prisons' portfolio, but that your primary strength lies in interaction and sparring with the business. You probably sit more in Archimate than in Eclipse.

About the job

Some of your key tasks will be as follows

• Develop solution architectures across systems and platforms.
• Assist in building a modern architecture function with a focus on pragmatism, do-it-yourself, transparency, and simplicity.
• Ensure coherence between business needs and IT solutions.
• Advise development teams and ensure best practices.
• Evaluate solution designs in connection with procurement and subsequent realization.
• Act as trusted advisor to Denmark's Prisons' business systems, and as ambassador for the new shared infrastructure.
• Assume a mentoring role in the architecture team.

About you

Professionally we would like you to have

• experience with working with architectural tools such as Archi, Bizzdesign or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• solid experience with architecture and system design, and good knowledge of architectural patterns.
• experience implementing microservices, API design and integration patterns.
• experience with event- and data-driven designs.
• knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and automation.

You should have views on solution architecture and coherence across, and at the same time have a realistic approach to creating good compromises where many considerations must be taken. Salary and employment terms

Appointment and remuneration are in accordance with either the state academics collective agreement Circular on the state academics collective agreement | Rules, agreements and circulars or the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff Circular on the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK) | Rules, agreements and circulars . In addition, allowances may be agreed depending on experience and qualifications.

• The position is full-time with an average weekly working time of 37 hours.
• The employment area is Denmark's Prisons. The workplace is currently located at Strandgade 100, Copenhagen K.
• Security clearance is a condition for employment, just as you must be able to maintain the security clearance during your employment.
