About Vingesus

Børnehuset Vingesus lies scenically at the former Værløse Air Station. We are a large and development-oriented children's house with about 150 children distributed across four nursery groups and four kindergarten groups and in addition a completely new nature patrol, consisting of the middle 32 children in the kindergarten, who in two shifts spend 3 weeks in the nature patrol.

Nature is an integrated part of the whole Vingesus and our pedagogical practice, and we have good frameworks for both play, movement, immersion and learning. At the same time the house is easily accessible by bus directly from both Værløse Station and Måløv Station.

We are a professionally strong staff group with many educated pedagogues , which provides a solid foundation for reflection, sparring and development of the pedagogical practice. In the nursery we are 7 educators, 2 pedagogical assistants and 4 helpers distributed over 4 rooms, while the kindergarten consists of 11 educators and 5 helpers distributed over 5 rooms. The strong professional staffing creates good opportunities for close collaboration, knowledge sharing and high quality in the work with the children.
