Børnehuset Arken is seeking a maternity leave substitute for the infant room

We are seeking a pedagogical assistant or child care assistant for a maternity leave position in our nursery. The position starts on January 4, 2027.

Børnehuset Arken consists of two nursery groups and three kindergarten groups. We are located close to Jyllinge's green areas and actively use nature and the local environment for trips and play.

In the nursery we place emphasis on security, care and presence. We follow the children's initiatives and interests and create a daily life where they can play, explore and develop at their own pace. All children should feel themselves to be meaningful participants in the community and be met by trustworthy and relationship-skilled adults.

We are an engaged staff group with different experiences, competencies and perspectives. We use each other for professional sparring, are curious about our practice and have room for both new ideas and humor in everyday life.

Who are we looking for? We are seeking you who

• can be present and at child-height with children aged 0-3 years and want to play, sing, read, build forts and go exploring together with them
• can create security in daily routines, maintain an overview when things are busy, and have an eye for both the individual child and the child community
• take responsibility, contribute positively to collaboration and value an open and respectful dialogue with the parents.

You may be a trained pedagogical assistant or have experience as a pedagogical aide. Experience from a day care is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important is that you are engaged, stable and eager to bring yourself and your competences into play.
