We are seeking two pedagogical assistants starting January 1, 2027

• Position 1: Permanent pedagogical assistant (32 hours) for the outdoor group.

In the outdoor group, the Grasshoppers (4-5 years), it is about taking the children out into nature and bringing nature into the children. We explore nature's possibilities in all kinds of weather and focus on the great nature experiences.

• Position 2: Fixed-term pedagogical assistant (36 hours) in a combined position.

This position is split between the kindergarten's youngest group, the Ladybirds (2.10-3 years), and with additional hours in the nursery department (0-2.10 years). Here the primary focus is to ensure a good, safe start through presence and care.

The working hours for both positions will be from 6:15 to 16:45.

Børnehuset Borris is an important part of Borris Holistic, which covers both day care, nursery, kindergarten, school and after-school club (SFO). The broad collaboration means that we know the children and their families from the very first time in care to when they leave school and the SFO. It creates a strong togetherness and a very special village mood, where we lift together.

Borris is a cozy village close to Skjern, surrounded by beautiful nature within a short walk. Indoors we have exciting play and learning environments, and outdoors a large and welcoming playground awaits. Our house accommodates a nursery with 15 children and an age-segregated kindergarten with 72 children.

Your primary areas of work

• In step with the children: You gladly dive into a game on the floor or in the sandbox, and you quickly embrace the children's own quirky and good ideas.
• Warm hugs and safe surroundings : You sense when a child needs a calm hand on the shoulder, a comforting hug or simply an adult who listens.
• Attention to the individual child: You quickly spot if a child is a bit outside, and you help invite them into the play and the community.
• Fresh air and outdoor life: You love to put on outdoor gear and take the children out under the open sky – whether it’s on a nature walk or playing on the playground in all kinds of weather.
• Collaboration with a smile: You work closely with your colleagues and contribute to a good mood in everyday life.
