About the job

Are you happy to drive and develop systems and translate business needs into IT? Then you can become part of a strong team at one of Denmark's best IT workplaces.

The Office for Grants and Educational Administration in the Agency for IT and Learning (STIL) seeks sharp business analysts who, in collaboration with our colleagues, can create coherence and robustness in the overall solution for grant and educational administration - a solution that is one of the larger economies in the central administration.

We are looking for business analysts for our offices in Copenhagen and in Aarhus.

Administration of grants and education in the Ministry of Education takes place in close interaction between the Ministry, the Agency for Education and Quality (STUK) and the Agency for IT and Learning (STIL), where we in STIL are responsible for the system complex.

You may come to work with systems such as e.g. CØSA, Uddannelsesadministration.dk as well as the Accounting and Supervisory Portal.

The position requires that you have strong analytical skills and technical flair, enabling you to engage in dialogue with developers and testers. Your technical skills will be given high weight.

As a business analyst you shall

  • get to know complex data areas, laws and regulations etc. and be able to convey this knowledge to IT developers as the basis for IT development.
  • have a sense of when it is relevant to involve other parts of the Ministry of Education and users to understand and uncover a need.
  • collaborate with the other parts of the ministry, for example in the preparation of reports on technical consequences of implementing new legislation.
  • be involved in driving the systems as a business analyst e.g. in connection with the annual calendars, where there will be annual implementations in the systems.

We ensure that you receive a thorough introduction to the systems and business processes so you can solve your task in the best possible way. We have a good and inclusive working environment that allows you to have a strong influence on your tasks and our solutions.

The work takes place in an agile team.

About you

We expect that you

  • have an academic or IT-technical educational background
  • take initiative and understand how to ensure progress.
  • have strong communication skills - also written.
  • possess good collaboration skills and a desire to work in an agile team, where you also help to estimate, clarify and structure your daily work. Knowledge of and experience with working agile will be a plus.
  • are interested in the business that will acquire the products, and who would like to help “design” the solutions.
  • wish to join a strong professional development environment, where we solve the tasks together.

Experience with IT development as a business analyst, IT project manager and/or experience from an agency or ministry will be good prerequisites.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable state collective agreement with the possibility to negotiate qualification allowances. With the right competencies, the positions can be filled at specialist or senior consultant level.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible and no later than 1 February 2027.

The workplace is STIL's department in Copenhagen: Kalvebod Brygge 47, 1560 Copenhagen V or in Aarhus: Lyseng Allé 1, 8270 Højbjerg.
