The position is available from 1 January 2027.

About the position The position is 6 hours per week on average.

As a church singer you will be an important part of the church’s services and religious ceremonies. Through your singing you help support the congregation’s communal singing and contribute to a dignified and present framework for the church’s life.

Your role Your tasks will among other things include

• Accompany the congregation’s singing during services and religious ceremonies (weddings, funerals or burials) on weekends and preferably also on weekdays
• Lead the opening and closing prayers and read announcements during services
• Distribute and collect hymnals during services
• Manage baby singing

Practical information You will be employed by Hvirring Parish Council , Hvirringvej 70, 8762 Flemming.

There is a duty to perform service at other employing authorities in the archdeaconry in accordance with the agreements entered into by the parish council or to which the parish council is a party.

Employment and compensation are made according to the applicable joint collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and CO10, as well as the organizational agreement for church musicians and others entered into with the Church Ministry. The annual salary is agreed within the range of 333,747.51 DKK – 475,590.08 DKK (current prices).

The position is with a duty to be available. For a duty to be available, an annual-duty allowance of 27,812.29 DKK (current prices) is granted.

In addition, an OK allowance of 1,082.22 DKK annually (current prices) is provided.

18.4% pension contributions are paid to CO10 pension in PFA.

Note , that the stated amounts apply to a full-time position. Salary, OK allowance and any duty to be available allowance are calculated proportionally according to the position’s hourly commitment. Final salary placement is agreed between the parish council and the Danish Church Musicians Association.
