Cleaning Assistant for Frejlev School

Frejlev School is seeking a professionally skilled cleaning assistant who understands the special task of working in an educational world where the importance of making school together is highly valued.

Start date as soon as possible.

The position is 35 hours of presence per week for 40 weeks per year (32 paid hours per week in 52 weeks). Daily start time is in the period from 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM, including breaks.

Frejlev School is located in the southwest part of Aalborg Municipality. The school has 576 pupils from 0th to 9th grade. Additionally, we have a well-functioning special department “Fokusklassen” – commonly referred to as “Diamanten.” It currently houses 51 students. In Diamanten, the students have different types of challenges/diagnoses.

In our DUS and DUS2 (After-school club) there are 287 children distributed across 0-6th grade. The staff at Frejlev School comprises about 90 people distributed among teachers, pedagogues, administrative and service staff.

The school is an academically oriented school, which works from a very positive view of children. The relationship is the cornerstone of all development at the school, and adults and children meet with an appreciative approach and resource thinking, regardless of your role at the school.

As a cleaning assistant you will join a large group of highly educated, skilled, adaptable and development-ready teachers, pedagogues, administrative staff and service personnel.

You will join a self-managing group consisting of 7 cleaning assistants.

The position covers

Cleaning assistant at Frejlev School where you are assigned your own area in close cooperation and dialogue with the other staff, the technical service manager and the students. There may also be incidental tasks in the school shop in collaboration with the catering and nutrition staff and the technical service manager in some cases.

You are professionally skilled and have experience with cleaning work, are independent, responsible and want further education.
