At Stævnens School and Residential Care we are looking for an engaged cleaning assistant who wants to be an important part of a community where wellbeing, care and development are at the centre.

We are looking for you who can see the value in creating surroundings where children and young people feel safe, welcome and at home.

More than cleaning

As a cleaning assistant with us you will be an important part of the daily operations. You help create the physical framework that supports learning, development and wellbeing.

You will have a varied daily life with independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues across the building.

Your tasks

You will among other things work with

Daily cleaning of common areas, classrooms, offices and lounges

Preparation and cleaning of rooms, including changing bed linen, vacuuming and wiping down

Cleaning of bathrooms and toilets and restocking of hygiene products

Waste handling and tidying up

Table setting, light kitchen assistance and practical tasks related to meals

Replenishing cleaning supplies and maintenance of equipment

Occasional practical tasks and light maintenance tasks

Contribute to a clean, safe and welcoming environment for both students and staff

Who are you?

You do not need to be trained in cleaning – the most important is that you take responsibility and want to make a difference.
