Clinical Lead for a residential care facility for people with complex eating disorders

At Region Syddanmark's social area, we offer places for citizens with complex social problems. The complexity increases and we need a skilled professional leader who – together with the house's other management – can ensure ongoing development and adaptation to what each citizen needs.

Pomonahuset is an §§ 66, 85 and 107 offering for adults (18 to 40 years) and youths (14 to 18 years) who all suffer from complex eating disorders. They are all working to live a life without the restrictions that the illness imposes.

Pomonahuset operates from a rehabilitative approach, where the youths sit at the head of their own treatment. In addition, Pomonahuset also has an advisory responsibility for the 22 municipalities in the Region Syddanmark.

Your role as professional leader

As a professional leader you are expected to “lead from the front” and be up-to-date with new professional knowledge in relation to our target group. You must be well-grounded in our theoretical and methodological base and you can use your knowledge constructively and actively supportive, in interaction with both staff and citizens. You coach and guide the house's employees so they continuously gain knowledge and insight in the specialty.

• are well-grounded in your professional field and are professionally curious.
• have strong competencies to work and lead multidisciplinary collaboration.
• can make independent decisions within the agreed frames.

As professional leader you must together with your professional leader colleague and the department head further develop the strong professional foundation we stand on, and ensure that everyone works from this. It requires a dialogue-based approach, where you in daily work are close to the staff, but at the same time can set clear direction and convey the expectations for the task solution.

In Pomonahuset, the work environment and well-being are a shared responsibility, and as professional leader you will have a strong influence on our working culture. You must therefore be able to contribute to a workplace with high well-being and communicate any points of concern to the department head, who has the personnel management of Pomonahuset.

The recruitment of a professional leader in Pomonahuset is part of a larger process in Region Syddanmark's social area. You will have equal colleagues with whom you can spar and share knowledge about the leadership task and the work in the social area. At Social Center Lillebælt this means you will become part of our internal sparring groups for professional leaders and networks for professional leaders.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week.

As a professional leader you will work at different times, so there is presence of leadership at different times of the day in Pomonahuset. The concrete planning will be flexible and done in dialogue with department head Henrik Jürs whom you will report to.

The position requires a driver's license for a passenger car.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position.

Since there is no requirement for one particular basic education, the base pay, centrally set allowances and pension for the applicable collective agreement will be communicated to you upon possible invitation to interview.
