Critical Operations Technicians (ITI) wanted for FE's new data centres

Do you want to help ensure the operation of FE's new data centers – and thus contribute to Denmark's security?

In connection with the establishment of FE's new headquarters at Svanemøllen Barracks, 10,000 m² of new data centers are being built. Here you will have the opportunity to bring your technical experience into play in a modern data center environment where stable operation, high quality, and precision are crucial.

Do you have experience with operating IT infrastructure in data centers, do you work in a structured way and follow tasks through to the end? And are you motivated by delivering high quality and helping to safeguard Denmark's security? Then you may be one of the Critical Operations Technicians we are looking for at FE.

You will face challenges and have room to develop

FE is seeking technicians for the operations department, responsible for the operation of FE's new data centers at Svanemøllens Barracks in Copenhagen.

The work is primarily based on IMACD processes (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose) and performed according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). You will play an important role in ensuring that tasks are solved systematically, documented correctly and meet the agreed standards.

Your tasks will include

• Carrying out daily tasks in accordance with the agreed OLAs and SLAs.
• Ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with SOPs without deviations.
• Quality assurance of all installations, cabling, and documentation.
• Participation in maintenance and optimization of the DCIM system in collaboration with the service provider.
• Ensuring that registrations in the CMDB and DCIM systems are always up to date.
• Identification and follow-up on faults, deviations, and deficiencies.
• Measurement and reporting of KPIs within capacity, quality, and efficiency.
• Participation in a 24/7 on-call duty roster to ensure continuous operation.

You and your background are important

We imagine that you have a minimum of three years' experience with operating IT infrastructure in data centers, including experience with preparing and maintaining procedures.

You have an education as a data center technician or equivalent and experience with SOP-based work and process management.

You work in a structured way, pay attention to details, and are naturally focused on quality and adherence to standards. You communicate clearly, take responsibility for your tasks, and follow up within your area of work.

It would be advantageous if you have experience with ITSM, CMMS, and/or DCIM systems.

It is also a requirement that you can obtain and maintain a security clearance to ARO (HEM).

Your salary package depends on your qualifications

Salary and terms of employment follow the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant trade union and depend on your educational background. In addition, you have the opportunity to negotiate salary supplements based on qualifications.

The average working time is 37 hours per week including a paid lunch break. The position includes a pension scheme, which FE pays for.

As an employee of FE you are covered by special terms. It is a requirement that you can obtain and maintain a security clearance throughout your employment. As in the rest of the Defence, you also have a duty for short-term deployment abroad.
