Are you our new technical service manager at Bork School?

Can you both fix a door, keep track of the buildings, ensure the school looks proper – and at the same time want to be a visible part of everyday life among children and adults?

Then it might be you we are looking for.

Bork School is seeking a full-time technical service manager with start date 01.12.2026 or as agreed.

An important person in everyday life

Bork School is a small municipal public school in Nørre Bork. We are a school where we know each other, help each other and place emphasis on a good working environment and good relations between children and adults.

As the technical service manager you will therefore not only be responsible for the bricks, outdoor areas and cleaning. You will become part of the school’s daily life and an important key person for the whole building.

We are looking for a person who sees what needs to be done – and who is eager to do something about it.

Your main tasks

The work is diverse, and two days are rarely the same. Your tasks will include

• responsibility for the school’s cleaning
• supervision of the school’s part-time cleaning assistant
• ongoing maintenance and minor repairs
• contact with tradespeople
• have an understanding of technical installations.
• care and maintenance of outdoor areas
• supervision of buildings, playground and play equipment
• practical tasks related to the school’s and the after-school program’s daily life and events
• purchasing consumables and other essential operational tasks
• supervision of municipal buildings in the local area
• participation in meetings and professional network in the municipality’s Property Center
• gritting and other weather-dependent tasks in the winter period.

Some tasks lie outside normal working hours, for example in connection with events or winter readiness.

Who are you?

Your education is not necessarily the most important to us. We imagine, however, that you have a trade background or good practical experience and are used to taking initiative.

Employment

The position is full-time.

Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement and contracts.
