About the job

We offer a daily leader position with both child-related and leadership time in an efficiently run area with a high professional level. As daily leader you will have a great opportunity to influence the videre development in close cooperation with the staff, our resource pedagogues, parents and the area manager, as well as good sparring opportunities with the six other daily leaders in the area.

You will have overall responsibility for the daily management, including personnel management, cooperation with parents and cooperation with external partners.

In addition, there will be a number of administrative tasks – performance and development reviews (MUS/GRUS), internal staff and parent meetings, preparation of meeting plans in collaboration with the staff.

As daily leader for Børnehuset Søndervang you will be part of an experienced leadership team, a good working environment, and you will daily be met by motivated and engaged staff.

Together with the area manager you have a crucial role in creating well-being, development and learning for the children and the staff in the area.

About Børnehuset Skovvang

We are a day-care facility located in the town of Hammel in a residential area with good nearby areas and close to school. We have a staffing norm of 50 kindergarten children and 12 nursery children.

In daily life we emphasize that we set the framework for the children to have time and opportunity for different games with participating adults. We emphasize community and a “we culture.” We focus on the children becoming self-reliant, learning how to treat each other properly, and feeling valued.

We work to give the children a bright life view and a good childhood so that they have the best framework to develop into robust children who can, want and dare.

Parent collaboration is very important to us, as parents are the most important in a child’s life.

We are in the process of developing our learning environments and this process will continue in 2027.

We are a group- and age-divided kindergarten and use the playground and the local area as a learning environment. We base our pedagogy on the strengthened pedagogical curriculum and a view of children that starts from the idea that “children do well if they can.”

Thursday, November 26 the recruitment committee will select candidates for the first interview, which will take place Tuesday, December 1 in the morning. After the first round of interviews, candidates will be selected for a second interview, which takes place Thursday, December 10 in the morning.

Candidates who proceed to the second interview must complete a personality test. Feedback will take place Friday, December 4 also in the morning, and there will also be an opportunity for an informal discussion with the area manager.
