About the job

Our new leader, together with the deputy head, must lead in developing our pedagogical quality and create a good and safe everyday life for children and adults at Kirkebakken.

• You have flair for and can take responsibility for the administrative and financial leadership
• You have relevant pedagogical education and preferably leadership experience

About us

Kirkebakken is a smaller age-integrated institution with about 27 infant places and 60 preschool places, located in Bredballe in Vejle Municipality. Bredballe lies on the Vejle Fjord and is an attractive residential area with very resourceful parents.

The institution is housed in a former school building at the top of Kirkebakken. Therefore we have our own gym hall. We have many rooms and a large outdoor area with a playground for both the infants and the preschool, a football yard and an old wild garden (Fritterhaven), with slopes, climbing trees and a fire pit, and the forest is just one gate away.

Kirkebakken is organized into 6 groups: 2 infant groups, 3 smaller preschool groups and a group for the oldest children.

We are a staff group consisting of employees with a wide age range, some with long seniority and others who are completely new to the house.

Like the other day-care services in Vejle Municipality, we are currently focused on the transition ”More children and youth together - in local communities” , where we focus on translating inspiration from Tea Thyrre Sørensen into our practice with the children.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms follow the agreement with BUPL, the pre-agreement and rules on local salary formation.

There is an application deadline Wednesday, December 2 at midnight. The first interview round will be held Wednesday, December 9 in the afternoon and possibly a second interview Wednesday, December 16 in the afternoon.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for pedagogically educated staff employed in leadership positions in municipalities, § 3-6 on salary setting. The expected starting salary for full-time work, excluding pension, is 45,876 DKK / in the range of 45,876 - 49,770 DKK depending on seniority. It should be noted that final placement, including the collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
