Childminder sought for Havrehed District in Nordfyns Municipality

In the Daycare District Havrehed we are seeking a dedicated daycare provider for either Morud or Veflinge. As a daycare provider you get a unique opportunity to influence children’s well-being, development, learning and formation in a safe and homely environment.

About the job

As a daycare provider you work in your own home, where you each day form the framework for a small group of children. You plan and organize everyday life and create learning environments that support each child’s development.

You become part of a professional community with other daycare providers and staff in our kindergartens and the pedagogical leader.

The position includes

• Care of children aged 0-3 years in your own home.
• A weekly working time of 48 hours, planned within the day-care’s opening hours and according to the families’ needs, typically 6:15-16:00.
• Participation in playgroups, meetings and professional activities with colleagues.
• Work with a high degree of independence and responsibility.

We are looking for a daycare provider who

• Is passionate about working with young children’s well-being, learning and development.
• Can work independently, take responsibility and structure their own workday in relation to the children’s group paths and needs.
• Has an eye for children’s development and wishes to continuously develop their pedagogical practice.
• Sees professional development, reflection and collaboration as a natural part of the job.
• Is welcoming and acknowledging in meetings with children, parents and colleagues.
• Has good physical spaces inside and outside that can form the basis for a safe and development‑oriented daycare environment.

Employment

The position is desired to be filled as soon as possible or no later than February 1, 2027. Employment interviews are held about one week after the application deadline.

To be considered for the position, parts of your home must be approved as a day-care home. You should therefore expect to be contacted as soon as you have submitted your application. We will only invite candidates for an interview if their home can be approved.

Application deadline is November 23, 2026.

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement. The expected salary range will be stated at the first interview.
