About the job

Are you our new specialist in moisture, mold and fungus… or would you like to become one?

Are you motivated by finding the cause of building technical problems? And do you like to combine practical investigations with professional in-depth study, advisory and reporting?

At DMR Mold you will have the opportunity to (further)develop yourself into a specialist in moisture, mold and fungus in buildings. You do not need to know all the answers upfront. The most important is that you have a solid building-technical understanding, work analytically and are curious to learn new things.

You will become part of a specialized professional environment with access to your own laboratories and colleagues who share their knowledge. At the same time you get a varied workday, where you both inspect buildings, identify the causes of damage, assess significance and help clients choose the right solutions.

We are seeking a new colleague for our office in Horsens or Silkeborg.

Become a “building detective” in an ambitious organization

As a advisor at DMR Mold your work is about more than just identifying damage. Your primary task is to find the underlying cause and convey the result, so the problem can be solved in the most appropriate way. Why does the moisture occur? Is it a cold bridge, rising damp, the building’s use or something else altogether?

Your main tasks will be

  • Building investigations: Identification of damage cause, extent and significance in relation to moisture, mold, fungus, insect infestation and rot.
  • Technical advisory: Preparation of concrete remediation plans, remediation guidelines and final quality assurance.
  • Reporting: Communicating complex findings in a clear, precise and well-phrased language to, among others, insurance companies, housing associations, municipalities and private individuals.
  • Network and client relationships: Maintenance and expansion of your assignment portfolio through professional sparring and market-oriented advice.

We envisage that you are educated building constructor, building engineer or have a similar building-technical background. If you also have a trade crafts background, that is an advantage. You probably have 3-5 years of experience with surveying the existing building stock, but we also value a broader profile.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Has a natural curiosity and thrives on solving building-technical puzzles.
  • Is analytical by nature, thoughtful and takes ownership of your tasks.
  • Has strong written communication skills (in Danish), so you can explain technical problems in an understandable way, and gain energy from working with formulations and report structures in each case.
  • Has a valid driving license (B) and a car. Travel is invoiced according to state rates.

Why choose DMR?

With us you become part of a flat organization with an informal and direct tone, where professionalism is in focus. We stand out by having our own laboratories , which gives you a unique opportunity for quick sparring and microbiological documentation.

You get a special opportunity to get close to many different buildings and constructions – from older properties to modern construction – and build a deep understanding of how buildings work and why damages occur.

We offer

  • A thorough onboarding and close sparring with experienced colleagues, so you quickly and safely settle into the advisor role and in contact with our clients.
  • A varied daily life with great freedom, influence on and responsibility for your own tasks.
  • Assignments ranging from smaller private cases to large, complex projects.
  • Good opportunities for both professional and personal development.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work when the tasks allow.
  • Salary and employment conditions that match your qualifications.
