The youngest need adults who see them, listen to them and follow their initiatives. Therefore relationships, play and communities are an important part of everyday life.

The children have a base group they belong to, but there is also the possibility to play and learn across groups. The adults follow the children's curiosity and create learning environments where there is room for both deepening, movement and small communities.

You will have the opportunity to use your professional expertise to create safe frames and support the children in their development – from the first relationships and language experiences to independence and participation in the community.

Professional development is part of everyday life

You will have the opportunity to develop your professionalism together with colleagues who are happy to share ideas, give each other constructive feedback and are curious whether there is a better way.

In daily practice there is room for professional sparring, reflection and trying out new ideas. Work is, among other things, with longer learning processes, sensory pedagogy and inspiration from NEST , and pedagogy meetings are used for planning, joint reflection and evaluation of activities and projects.

You also have the opportunity for courses and professional development when it makes sense for your role and the pedagogical practice.

You don’t need to have all the answers. The most important thing is that you are willing to be curious about your own practice, share what you see, and develop yourself together with others.

Good colleagues and room to be new

Universet has around 80 children and a staff group with 11 educators and 6 pedagogical assistants and -assistants. Different competencies, experiences and perspectives are actively used in daily life.

There is time for professional sparring, cross-support and room for laughter. The nursery and kindergarten houses cooperate closely, including opening, closing and joint activities.

As a new employee you will receive a thorough introduction and a buddy you can use for sparring in everyday life. In addition there are conversations with the manager in the first six months, where there is an opportunity to follow up on wellbeing, experiences and development.

Flexibility in work life

A good work life should be able to hang together – for both you and the workplace. Therefore there is an opportunity for flexibility in the organization of work when it can go hand in hand with the children's needs, colleagues and daily operations.

You have the opportunity to influence your working hours and when you handle your administrative tasks. Your wishes are taken into account in dialogue, and together you look at how they can fit with the core task and everyday life in the house.

You can be newly graduated or experienced. You don’t need to know it all from the start. The most important thing is the desire to learn, contribute and be close to the children.

• 37 hours per week

• Salary and employment conditions according to current collective agreement
