Educator sought for Askelunden – a small house with a big heart

Askelunden is a small nursery where everyone knows each other, and where we every day make an effort to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for the children. Askelunden consists of two infant groups and two preschool groups and is normed to 64 children; the position is in one of our infant groups.

We are looking for a trained pedagogue who

• Is present and has an eye for both the individual child's needs and development as well as the well-being of the community.
• Is professionally curious and wishes to actively contribute to the development of the pedagogical quality.
• Can plan and implement activities and projects based on the children's interests, needs and perspectives.
• Is strong in relationship-building and sees the value in close, safe and affirming relationships.
• Has a good sense of humor, is loyal and contributes positively to the community.
• Is aware of the importance of high attendance stability in a small house where all employees play an important role.

Who we are

We are a nursery with 4 rooms, full of life, play and laughter. Here live about 44 preschool children and 26 infants. In addition we have a group of skilled and dedicated adults who guide, laugh and give hugs along the way.

With us you get

Askelunden is part of District Baltorp, which consists of 7 nurseries. The other nurseries are Kirstinevang, Grantoften, Bispevangen, Hula Hop, Stjernehuset and Kornblomsten.

Hiring process and salary

The start date is January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.

We expect to hold interviews on an ongoing basis.

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours and is a permanent position.

Application deadline: November 18, 2026.

We offer salary and terms of employment according to the collective agreement for pedagogical staff in day care, clubs and leisure schemes in municipalities and according to principles of local pay formation and in agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position is DKK 35,990.97 – 40,298.65 per month (37 hours).

The salary depends on a negotiation between the manager and the professional organization that has the right to negotiate for the applicable collective agreement.

The salary composition depends on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
