Then it is you we are looking for. Børnehuset Kastanjen is seeking two pedagogues to expand our fantastic staff group, one in the nursery and one in the kindergarten.

Albertslund Municipality positively supports the full-time effort in accordance with the Tripartite Agreement on Wages and Working Conditions, and the municipality therefore hires predominantly on a 37-hour basis.

A little about our Kastanje

BHU Kastanjen is an integrated early years service with about 150 children aged 0-6 years and around 35 staff, located in Albertslund North. We have 5 kindergarten groups distributed in 2 teams, and 4 nursery groups in a team of their own.

We work targeted to support strong child communities through present adults who guide, regulate and lead with empathy and security. We see relationships and play as the foundation for children’s well-being, learning and development, and we want all children to experience themselves as meaningful participants in the community. We have close collaboration with our practice community, which consists of pedagogical mentors, a speech therapist and a psychologist, who have their (almost) daily presence in the house.

Together with the practice community, we are curious about behavior, we look behind behavior, formulate hypotheses and try actions.

As an employee you have great influence on both content, activities and the pedagogical frameworks . We hold staff meetings and planning meetings about once a month, and we cherish the many traditions that strengthen the community across the house.

Nature, community and experiences

Kastanjen is a certified Green Sprouts institution, and we have a large and inspiring playground with lots of opportunities for play, exploration and learning . We use our local area and the municipality’s many cultural offerings ; playgrounds, the library, the cinema, the Viking Village and Vestskoven. We go on bike trips on the safe network of paths that connects the municipality from north to south, with children on two-wheelers and in our cargo bikes.

Salary placement is determined by negotiation between the municipality and the negotiating party organization.
