Educators for Ringertoften's Nursery in Nordvest – a children's house focused on development, coaching and community

In the nursery, it is the presence, care and immersion in the very small moments that are at the center. Here we focus on creating security for the children, so they have room to develop and grow.

We have a strong focus on development both for the individual employee and in the work community. We have professional programs where we focus on different pedagogical topics. This gives us a common professional language, and all employees set goals for their own development.

Right now we focus on relationship-building that creates security. We work with attachment, interaction between children and adults, facial expressions, gestures and mirroring of the children's emotions.

We also obviously focus on the children's development. This happens both in the many daily routines and planned activities. We divide the children into small groups every day and have activity plans, but we also follow the children's tracks and seize their interests and curiosity.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you, who is a trained pedagogue – you can be newly trained needing a little extra sparring, or experienced with a desire for responsibility and to set the direction for our practice.

It is important to us that you want to learn new things together with your colleagues, and that you want to develop both your own and the house's pedagogical practice.

You must also have the courage to work with room leadership – for us this means that you as a pedagogue on a room can keep an overview, take initiative and ensure that we follow the structure and the agreements we have made together.

About Ringertoften

We are an integrated institution located in a brand-new building in Copenhagen's North-West Quarter. Here we have some quite unique and really cool surroundings with a lot of space, plenty of light, a pleasant atmosphere and good acoustics. It creates a great calm in everyday life, because it is not noisy here, and we can easily divide into many different rooms.

We have six rooms in both the nursery and the kindergarten, and we think there are many advantages to being a large house. In addition to extra space, we also have extra resources that enable us to run special projects, educate our staff and have more adults in the rooms.

We have two pedagogical leaders and also two professional coordinators, so you will always experience close professional sparring.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

The positions are generally 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible.

In connection with the employment, we obtain child and criminal records checks as well as references.
