Then we have an exciting position in Leadership and Finance in the Appeals Board (Ankestyrelsen) in Copenhagen.

Central role in the management of Ankestyrelsen's finances

You will become part of Team Finance in the Office of Leadership and Finance, which is responsible for governance and development of Ankestyrelsen's finances. We work with a complex economy of about 500 million DKK and support the management and heads in prioritization and decisions.

As an employee you will have responsibility and a central role in the overall financial management, where you work with both operations and development.

Your tasks will include

You will have a daily life with extensive contact with managers and employees and ample opportunity to influence both task solving and development of the finance function.

  • have experience with financial management in the state or another public organization – but this is not a condition
  • work independently and take responsibility for your tasks – even when they are complex

We emphasize that you thrive in a politically led organization and are motivated by contributing to Ankestyrelsen's core task.

About the Office – Leadership and Finance

In the office we sit in an open office landscape, which is often bustling with life and activity. We have an informal tone, and we take the time to help each other – even if we can have a busy daily life with many different tasks and deadlines.

About the Appeals Board

Ankestyrelsen is an independent agency under the Ministry of Social Affairs and the appeals body in the social, children, employment and work injury areas. We decide around 60,000 cases annually and also work with analyses, supervision, guidance and training.
