Evening shift for maternity leave cover

As an evening shift worker with us you help create a safe, dignified and cozy evening for the residents. We place great emphasis on high professional standards, close collaboration and a good working environment. At OK-Fonden Vonsildhave we work for that life is lived to the full.

Your primary tasks

As an evening shift worker with us you become an important part of the residents' daily life. You work with personal care, presence and support for daily activities – and you do it in a team where we help each other, support each other and focus on wellbeing in everyday life. You are primarily autonomous in a unit with about 10 residents. There will be a dining host and an SSA colleague available.

Document and relay important observations, ensuring continuity in care and record-keeping.

Close supervision and sparring

• You have close access to your immediate leader, who is visible and available
• There is ongoing sparring and professional support, so you never stand alone
• Decisions are made close to practice, so you experience clear direction and quick answers

The practical

• You are trained as a social- and health care helper (SSH), or unskilled with relevant experience in elder care.
• The position is 28 hours to start with in a 5/2 roster
• Weekend shifts are every second week
• Health insurance as part of the employment

OK-Fonden Vonsildhave is a private nursing home that collaborates with Kolding Municipality. We are located in natural surroundings in southern Kolding. We have a large café, an active resident and relatives council, and many volunteers who create good experiences for the residents.
