Syddjurs Municipality offers trainee positions for those who are either in the process of completing the basic course 2, wish to start at basic course 2 or start at the main course for the social and health care helper education (SSH), social and health care assistant education (SSA) and EUX Welfare, with start in January and February 2027.

The training sites are located in various places in the municipality during your training. You have the opportunity to train in citizen teams, at our care centers, or in the social sector.

Salary and terms of employment

Your weekly working hours are on average 37 hours, where you will mainly work day shifts on weekdays. Some weekend and evening shifts may occur, in accordance with FOA’s collective agreement for SOSU trainees.

You have the opportunity to apply for trainee or adult trainee pay throughout the education depending on relevant experience and/or age (+ 25 years). Criteria for adult trainee pay for social and health education are drawn up based on an agreement between KL and FOA the. December 18, 2007.

• Documentation of current grade or exam results, as well as any GF2 certificate

• Any documentation and references from previous work experience
• Work and residence permit or most recent confirmation from the Danish Immigration Service of the application for residence. (Not applicable to Danish citizens).
