ABOUT ME

Hi

I'm a 72-year-old man who had a brain haemorrhage 27 years ago. That means I'm in a wheelchair.

Since my current helper has stopped, I am looking for a new helper who can start as soon as possible, preferably from 6 November 2026.

Since my daughter has a dog, it is also important that you are not afraid of dogs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your job is very simple. You shall be my “extended arms.” That means you will help me with practical tasks both at home and outside the home. Therefore it is necessary that you have a driving license.

You must be able to work regularly every week and at the same time have the possibility to be a substitute when needed. There may be coverage of shifts on all days of the week.

The working hours are mainly Friday 12:00-18:00, corresponding to 6 hours per week. This is part-time work, and the hours can be changed if I have activities or appointments on that day.

It would also be an advantage if you can join on possible weekend trips and holidays. These tasks would, however, be shared with another helper.

Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

As a disability helper you will be part of a good, flexible and necessary team of disability helpers who together cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen's own home, for leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen would like to participate in.
