A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Katrine, I am 32 years old and live in a cozy terraced house about half an hour's drive south of Aalborg with my partner, our little newborn son and our little dog.

I have cerebral palsy (a partial spastic paralysis) and therefore use an electric wheelchair.

That means I need help with personal care and various practical tasks that are usually part of everyday life.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a permanent assistant, either full-time or part-time, who would like to become part of our cozy everyday life.

Shifts will mainly be 12-hour shifts from 10:00-22:00 or 22:00-10:00, but longer shifts can also occur.

We value flexibility and a good dialogue regarding the work schedule, so we can together make everyday life fit well.

As my assistant you will be my extra arms and legs in daily life. You will among other things help me with personal care and the practical things that come with a completely ordinary family life. It can be anything from taking me to physiotherapy, shopping, or usual daily tasks at home.

My partner and I recently became parents to a wonderful little boy, who naturally fills a large part of our everyday life. Therefore, it is important that you like children and feel comfortable in a home with a small family. In fact, we see it as a great plus if you enjoy being around children and view this as an extra bonus of the job.

For us, the most important is that the chemistry is good, that we can be relaxed in each other’s company, and that you want to be part of our everyday life.
