About the Outpatient Clinic for Anxiety and Personality Psychiatry

The outpatient clinic handles assessment and treatment at main function level and is organized into three teams focusing on:

  • Disorders of personality structure

In addition, the outpatient clinic collaborates closely with a prevention team for patients with self-harming behavior.

Treatment is based on a multidisciplinary approach with therapeutic, pharmacological and social work elements. We offer individual pathways, combination therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation and pharmacological treatment based on patient needs and the best available evidence.

The individual teams work with specialized treatment methods.

Personality disorders

Anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders

The team provides treatment at main function level with a basis in cognitive and metacognitive treatment frameworks.

PTSD

Treatment includes methods such as Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, NET and ISTDP.

Dual diagnoses

The treatment track is being implemented, where multidisciplinary coordination and the development and implementation of new workflows are central tasks.

We highly value professional development, both cross-disciplinary and mono-disciplinary, and continuously work to integrate the latest evidence-based knowledge into practice. Employees participate in regular supervision and guidance, and the outpatient clinic actively contributes to training of junior doctors, psychologists in postgraduate training, nursing students and psychology interns.
