You will as an Inclusion Educator, together with the kindergarten's other educators, work closely in the pedagogical practice where special pedagogy meets general pedagogy for the children’s best.

The Inclusion Educator's work is based on

The preventive initiative - where the effort is targeted at all children in the community

The intervening effort - where the effort is targeted at a single child

We base our approach on the municipality's inclusion strategy, where inclusion is viewed across four dimensions namely; Physical, Social, Academic and Psychological inclusion.

As an Inclusion Educator you shall, in cooperation with the general educators, help to test and implement pedagogical methods and tools to support the institution's educators in translating them into daily practice .

As an Inclusion Educator you shall be able to see both others' and your own practice, and see yourself as an active contributor so that colleagues and parents see opportunities in the current challenges.

A Inclusion Educator should not be regarded as an expert who comes with the answer. Rather the task is to be investigative, listening and co-creating in a positive change for the group of children.

We are focused on reflection frameworks that ensure staff competencies to reflect on their own practice. A reflection competency that creates good conditions for you, together with the kindergartens' educators, to find new paths in inclusive practice.
