About the job

ZBC is a school with a strong international profile. Our purpose is partly to develop students' and staff's international knowledge and competences, and partly to profile ZBC as an international partner for the rest of the world.

At ZBC we develop students' and staff's international knowledge and competences in several different ways.

We arrange stays abroad, for example through the EU programme Erasmus+, and help students to have internships abroad approved, so that the students can apply for grants for internships abroad via the OPU scheme. We also receive many students from abroad at ZBC, so that our own students who cannot travel abroad are internationalised at home.

For the vast majority of our international programmes we have the possibility to provide financial support.

We have many different opportunities for students who want to do an internship abroad to tailor their professional profile in an international direction by taking part of the education here with us abroad.

We also prioritise upskilling of teachers and other staff through international programmes and activities.

Through the EU we continuously seek funds for projects that help ensure a high quality for our entire school.

About the job as Erasmus+ project manager

As Erasmus+ project manager at ZBC your tasks will among other things include all tasks related to Erasmus+ KA1 projects (incoming and outgoing mobility) as well as OPU, in close cooperation with the rest of the team.

ZBC is charter accredited within the vocational education sector, and you will have your own primary education areas, on which you will be the coordinator, whether there is a need to send students or staff abroad or to receive guests at one of ZBC’s locations.

You will take on tasks related to reception and sending of students (before, during and after stays), including:

  • Plan, develop and operate inbound and outbound Erasmus+ flows in collaboration with leaders and teachers, as well as perform tasks related to logistics and budgeting, including preparation of project plans, hosting information meetings for students, collecting and entering data, preparing contracts, evaluating with participants, etc.
  • Contribute to the development of new collaborations in areas that are new in the Erasmus+ context.
  • Ensure that there is progress in projects that have received EU funding within specific educational areas, including contributing to fulfilling ZBC's charter objectives.
  • Keep yourself continuously updated on applicable EU rules by participating in relevant meetings – internally and externally, including communicating any changes or new opportunities to the educational areas that you are the coordinator for.
  • Collaboration with partners abroad and development of new partnerships.
  • Internal collaboration at ZBC with both teaching departments and staff departments at all levels of the organisation.
  • Administrative tasks in connection with the day-to-day tasks in the department.
  • Sending of students under other programmes, e.g. the OPU scheme.

You will also participate in a variety of international activities such as projects, visits by foreign delegations and guests.

About you

  • You have experience with Erasmus+ , preferably Key Action 1 within the vocational education sector. It is a clear advantage if you also have experience with OPU and knowledge of other programmes as well as systems such as Beneficiary Module, EU programme guides and contract set.
  • You have administrative and financial acumen and are persistent in following up on tasks. You are detail-oriented and responsible and prioritise solving your tasks with high quality.
  • You are service-minded and good with relationships. It comes naturally to you to network, host guests from other cultures and create a constructive dialogue with people at all levels – both internally and externally. You communicate well in Danish and English, both oral and written, and have some knowledge of other foreign languages. You are also comfortable leading meetings, both in person and online.
  • You thrive in collaboration and common task-solving . You are a team player who contributes positively to a team where we support each other and lift the tasks together.
  • You can maintain an overview in a diverse everyday life. You are motivated by having many activities ongoing at once and can stay calm even when it is busy and pressure situations arise.
  • You are an experienced IT user who is familiar with common IT platforms and tools and is keen to learn new systems. You think holistically and have an eye for the whole at ZBC.
  • You approach everyday work with flexibility and good humor . You are mentally robust, contribute positively to the work community and are prepared to be physically present at the workplace every day. In addition, you are flexible regarding travel and can work at all of ZBC's locations.

The position suits you who are motivated by responsibility, thrive with many different priorities and have a flair for navigating in complex contexts with multiple dependencies and sets of rules. You gain energy from a varied daily life where you independently must create an overview, find solutions and handle different tasks and contact surfaces.
