About the job

Can you create coherence between IT systems, workflows and practice?

In the Adult and Health Division in Billund Municipality, we are looking for an IT coordinator who will play a central role in ensuring that our digital solutions support employees' work and create value for citizens.

You will take a central role in working with especially KMD Nexus and other digital solutions in the adult and health sector. We are looking for a colleague who can see the connection between system setup, documentation, workflows and professional practice, and who understands that IT is not an end in itself but a tool that should support our core task.

The work with Nexus, which is our health and care system, will constitute a substantial part of your workday. Therefore, you should be comfortable moving between system administration, development, implementation, support and training. At the same time, you should be able to translate complex issues into solutions that make sense for managers and employees in everyday life.

However, it’s not all about development and projects. We also hope you enjoy the everyday variety of tasks and inquiries. Some days you will work with implementing new features, testing system changes or developing digital workflows. Other days you will help a manager with a Nexus question, support our superusers or find solutions to concrete operational challenges.

Therefore we are looking for a person who can both maintain an overview of long development tracks and simultaneously provide tangible support and sparring in everyday work.

You will have a central role, and you will be the person that colleagues, managers, superusers and partners turn to when digital workflows need to be developed, optimized or explained.

What will you do with us?

We have plenty to do, and some of the tasks you will spend time on with us will be to

  • ensure that our Nexus setup supports our operations
  • ensure coherence between system support, workflows and professional needs
  • contribute to ensuring good digital solutions across the units and platforms that employees use in daily work
  • support and guide managers and employees in the use of Nexus
  • plan and facilitate superuser meetings and ensure knowledge sharing across the organization
  • act as a link between suppliers, IT, superusers, management and professional areas
  • coordinate tests, error reports and improvement proposals
  • contribute to training, support and preparation of guidelines
  • support work with documentation, registration and data quality
  • contribute to the development and optimization of digital workflows
  • support development projects within digitalization and new technology

The tasks will naturally be adapted to your competences and experience.

Who are you?

We know that no one can do everything, and therefore there can be many paths into the job. We do not require a specific educational background, but we are looking for a colleague who:

  • has experience from a similar role where you have worked with system administration, system management, digitalization or support of professional IT systems
  • has experience with either Nexus or other major professional systems, preferably from a municipality or other public organization
  • has strong system understanding and an interest in digital solutions
  • understands municipal organizations, decision-making processes and the cross-cutting relationships between professional areas, economy, operations and digital support
  • understands the link between professional practice, workflows, data and system support
  • understands the importance of IT solutions supporting employees' practice and contributing to the quality of task execution
  • can translate professional needs into digital solutions and at the same time communicate system possibilities and limitations in an understandable way
  • works in a structured and independent way
  • thrives with both development tasks and daily operations
  • is good at teaching others and translating complex knowledge into practice
  • is solution-oriented and sees opportunities rather than limitations
  • builds good relationships and collaborates across professional groups
  • communicates clearly, helpfully and respectfully

Familiarity with VUM, FSIII or the social and health field is a great advantage.

Why should you choose us?

With us you get

  • a central role with great importance for the organization's digital development
  • an opportunity to influence the development of systems, workflows and digital solutions
  • skilled and engaged colleagues
  • a work environment characterized by collaboration, trust and high professionalism
  • a everyday life with great variation and many collaboration interfaces
  • good opportunities for professional and personal development

We know that our system landscape is complex, and therefore we place great emphasis on a thorough introduction to the job. If you do not have knowledge of all our solutions beforehand, we do not expect you to know everything from the first day. We provide relevant training, sparring and opportunities for competency development so you are well prepared for the task.
