About the job

Jobcenter Odder is seeking job advisers for the job-focused initiative

Are you passionate about the employment area and about helping job seekers get into work?

Do you thrive in assisting employers with recruitment, where matching with the right candidate is a natural focus for you?

Do you enjoy a role with breadth, where you handle both authority-based case processing and the business-facing efforts?

Then you may be our new colleague.

Be part of a strong team

As a consequence of the Employment Reform, Jobcenter Odder completed a major reorganization in early 2026 and we are in full swing implementing the reform’s intentions. This means, among other things, that we have implemented the necessary savings and now focus entirely on developing a future-proof Jobcenter Odder.

Jobcenter Odder has a strong job-focused focus and a strong cross-disciplinary community in solving tasks. We are therefore organized into two new task communities, Team Job & Employer Service and Team Job & Attachment.

The vacant positions are anchored in Team Job & Employer Service, where we handle all tasks related to people who receive unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Act, education-ready, job-ready and activity-ready cash benefit recipients over 25 years old, those who receive unemployment benefits and those employed in flexible jobs.

Both positions involve tasks related to persons who receive unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Act and citizens over 25 who receive cash benefit. Depending on your profile, you will initially have primary tasks within either insured unemployed or cash‑benefit target groups, but in time you will handle tasks within both areas.

The organization means that, as a job advisor, you are central to the citizens’ pathway in the Job Center. You therefore handle both authority tasks and proactive business-facing functions for specific citizens. In selected cases you also act as a mentor.

Team Job & Employer Service consists of 17 employees with diverse professional backgrounds and a professional coordinator. The team is characterized by strong professional engagement and a high degree of flexibility in task solving, just as the culture is marked by collegial mutual help.

We are particularly focused on ensuring that the timing and planning of interventions are aligned with the citizen’s situation and needs – with a clear job- and education-oriented aim. We have a strong focus on the job-focused effort, where job goals match the demand for labor and where paid hours are a guiding element in the effort.

As our new colleague, your tasks will include, among others

  • Guidance and case processing for people who receive unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Act, as well as education-ready, job-ready and activity-ready cash benefit recipients over 25 years old
  • Screening interviews with citizens over 25 applying for cash benefits
  • Proactive business contact related to concrete citizen trajectories
  • Establishing agreements on paid hours, wage subsidies, and practical company placements
  • Planning and conducting follow-up meetings at companies, where you act as meeting chair
  • Preparation of documentation in our professional systems
  • Advice and guidance to companies, employers and citizens about the possibilities within the employment-oriented initiatives

The optimal profile

  • You thrive at the intersection of authority, business and citizen
  • You have experience within the employment area, e.g. in a Job Center setting or as another actor
  • You work systematically and thrive in the authority role
  • You have experience and enjoy proactive company contact
  • You have experience with job-focused conversations, where you act as facilitator, motivator and inspirer
  • You thrive with digital solutions
  • You are a true team player and passionate about engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • You thrive in work that requires both empathy, patience and perseverance
  • You thrive in an organization that is in constant development and where continuous changes happen in your daily life

If you don’t meet the entire wish list, we are still interested in hearing from you, as we recruit for the team based on the competencies we collectively contribute.

We can offer

  • A meaningful job where you have influence and an opportunity to make a significant difference
  • Thorough introduction to the organization
  • A strong cross-disciplinary and social community
  • A dynamic and varied daily life with a high degree of independent competence
  • A workplace where we prioritize well-being and a good working environment
  • A workplace with high psychological safety
  • Opportunities for close professional and managerial support in daily life
  • A smaller organization with a flat structure, room to dream big and where there is not a long way from idea to action

The application deadline is October 20, 2026

Interviews will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Applications including CV and educational certificates, and any references, should be submitted via the municipality’s recruitment system.
