Who are we?

Vigerslev Allé's School (VAS) is a fully three-stream school all the way from 0th to 9th grade with four reception classes. We have 750 happy children and 90 engaged and skilled staff. The school is chosen by district children and parents, and VAS scores well on both well-being and academic results.

We are seeking a capable teacher who can teach mathematics and science/technology to our 3rd and 4th year groups. In addition, you should serve as a co-class teacher in one of the 3 classes, and if you can also teach physics/chemistry or physical education, that would be an advantage.

• are trained as a teacher or have other relevant education and are prepared to work according to the values underlying Copenhagen Municipality's work with More for More -
• enjoy working with children, are relationally competent and focused on creating participation opportunities for all children
• are able to be on eye level with the children and see beyond their needs
• are a clear class leader and academically ambitious
• positively and actively engage in collaboration with parents, colleagues and leadership

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms are determined in accordance with qualifications and the applicable collective agreement between the municipality and the relevant professional organization.

In connection with the employment we will obtain child and criminal record checks as well as references.

The working hours amount to 37 hours per week.

Employment starts from December 1, 2026 and preferably earlier.
