Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Manager

Do you want to lead the development of the maintenance function at a brand-new Danish factory?

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager / Vedligeholdelseschef, who will take responsibility for establishing and developing our maintenance organization and ensuring stable, safe and efficient technical operation at Nammo Denmark's new factory in Elling.

You will have a central role in building the factory, where from the start you can influence maintenance strategy, technical solutions, systems and workflows. You will become an important part of the transition from project to operation, where good planning, technical insight and strong leadership are essential.

Your role

You report to Site Manager / Production Manager and have overall responsibility for the maintenance function, including organization, employees, maintenance planning and technical infrastructure.

You will build a well-functioning function that ensures systematic preventive maintenance, high operational reliability and efficient use of resources. This includes production equipment, buildings and technical installations, including CTS/BMS.

You will also be responsible for establishing structures and workflows in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Asset Management, so maintenance, work orders and technical documentation are handled systematically. You will work closely with production, HESS, the project organization and external technical and service suppliers.

During the ramp-up period you should expect a fair amount of travel activity, as onboarding and collaboration with colleagues at other Nammo locations will be a natural part of the start-up.

Your primary tasks

• Build and lead the maintenance function, including organization, resource prioritization and development of staff.
• Establish maintenance strategy, maintenance plans and preventive maintenance for production equipment and technical installations.
• Ensure stable operation of buildings, ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical, water, CTS/BMS and other technical supply systems.
• Establish workshop, tools, service agreements, technical documentation and efficient workflows.
• Implement and use D365 Asset Management for planning, work orders, asset data and follow-up.
• Follow up on operating disturbances, breakdowns and maintenance needs and ensure effective solutions.
• Coordinate external suppliers and manage maintenance budget, spare parts and service agreements.
• Drive energy optimization and continuous improvements with focus on operational stability, costs and resource utilization.
• Ensure that maintenance work is performed in accordance with applicable HESS, quality and safety requirements.

Who are you?

You have a relevant technical education, for example as a mechanical engineer, engineer or similar, and solid experience with technical operations and maintenance. You have a good understanding of preventive maintenance, technical problem solving and operation of complex installations.

Experience with personnel management and building maintenance functions is a clear advantage. The same applies to knowledge of CTS/BMS, D365 Asset Management, energy optimization and technical projects in manufacturing companies.
