Maternity leave substitute for teaching position at Nymarken School & Børnehus

We are looking for a teacher who can teach English, art, HDS and music at our middle grades.

The position is full-time, and we appoint with the start date of 11 November 2026 or by agreement.

You will become a teacher at a school with skilled and engaged staff who are focused on creating the best framework for learning and well-being for pupils and children, and you will become part of a team collaboration that prioritises a positive supportive approach highly in connection with daily teaching.

If you are unsure whether you can cover the entire subject range, apply anyway, and if you are a student with music as a main subject, then it is possible that we have 8 weekly music lessons for you.

About Nymarken School and Childcare House

Nymarken School & Childcare House (0th to 9th grade) consists of a school, after-school program (SFO) and kindergarten. The school also serves as a senior school for the nearby Marslev School & Childcare House. The school has 2 tracks in the upper years and 1 track in the other year groups.

Nymarken School and Childcare House constitutes a natural gathering point for the local community and the associations, and there is strong and engaged support from the local environment to ensure the area's children the best possible school and day care. The school maintains good cooperation with parents and other actors around the school.

This school year we have a particular focus on Co-Teaching and the establishment of intermediate forms. Additionally, the school participates in a collaboration with the Social Services and the other schools in Kerteminde on the implementation of the tool “Brain and Heart,” so that it can function within the school as a tool to promote student well-being.

Salary and employment terms

Employment will be in accordance with the applicable agreement for teachers and others in primary schools and special education for adults entered into between KL and DLF. The position is classified as a teacher for 37 hours.

Expected salary range: 37,600 - 43,850 per month excluding employer-paid pension, a voluntary statutory holiday allowance and holiday pay. Additionally, locally agreed allowances, qualification, function and supplementary allowances may apply.

The final salary determination will be made based on your qualifications and previous professional experience after concrete negotiation with the relevant professional organization.
