About us

Establishment and Terrain Command creates the physical framework for the Defence's units and supports authorities under the Ministry of Defence. We maintain buildings, facilities, terrains and firing ranges nationwide and deliver both operations tasks, grounds care and technical support.

The position is anchored in the Establishment Partner Element for Shooting- and Exercise Areas.

Jægerspris Camp is a shooting and exercise range with accompanying overnight facilities. We operate the shooting and exercise range at Jægerspris, Stold, Bredetved and 10 firing ranges on Zealand and Funen.

About the position

In collaboration with two colleagues and an operations manager, you will help operate and maintain buildings and green areas at our establishments in Jægerspris.

Your tasks will include

• Grounds maintenance tasks around buildings
• Basic maintenance of buildings and technical installations
• Collaboration internally in the team and with external craftsmen
• Waste management and maintenance of toilet caravans
• Stand-by duty every 4 weeks, accrued hours are taken as time off in the following week

You will join a newly established property service team. Jægerspris Camp's civilian operations department also consists of professional groups such as radar/boat watches, ammunition depot, cleaning and administration. In close collaboration with our military colleagues and canteen staff we ensure that shooting facilities and accommodations meet the units' expectations so they have the best possible conditions to complete their training.

About you

We would like you to be educated as a property service technician, or have experience in maintenance of buildings, technical installations and/or grounds care.

You should preferably have experience with and an interest in grounds care.

• Are an experienced IT user
• Find it easy to get along with other people
• You are outgoing
• Have a good mood and a good sense of the situation

As a person you are first and foremost a good colleague who values good collaboration and naturally contributes to the community. You have a flair for coordination and are good at communicating clearly with colleagues as well as with subcontractors.

You work independently and have a strong service mindset. You are always ready to take initiative and find innovative solutions to tasks that arise.

It is a requirement that you hold a category B driving license, and preferably category BE (trailer license over 3500 kg).

Employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for cleaning assistants, sanitarians, skilled workers and certain vocational graduates etc. in the state, etc. (3F).

The base salary for a trained property service technician is DKK 28,911.92 per month. As an unskilled worker, the employment is as a skilled worker with a base salary of DKK 26,228.00 per month.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is a possibility to negotiate allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Jægerspris.

As an employee within the Ministry of Defence area you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be able to obtain security clearance and maintain the clearance throughout the entire employment relationship.

You have, as an employee, a duty to render service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.
