Nurse for a combined position spanning the outpatient clinic, inpatient ward and geriatric intake

The Department of Elderly and Multimorbidity at North Zealand Hospital is in an exciting development and we are looking for a committed nurse for a unique position across our functions in both Frederikssund and Hillerød.

The position includes work in

• Bed ward at Frederikssund Hospital
• Ambulatory for Elderly Diseases at Frederikssund Hospital
• The Elderly Reception in the Joint Emergency Department at Hillerød Hospital

You will be an important part of our overall patient pathway and will have the opportunity to work across sites, following patients through different phases of their illness trajectory.

The Department of Elderly and Multimorbidity works with some of the health service's most complex patients. Our patients often have complex pathways that require a holistic approach, close multidisciplinary collaboration and coordination across sectors

• Dizziness and fall risk
• Polypharmacy

• Complex geriatric problems

Experience in geriatrics, medical nursing or ambulatory care is an advantage but not a requirement.

Employment terms

The position is full-time (or as agreed).

The position is cross-site, with time split approximately 80% in the ward and outpatient clinic in Frederikssund and approximately 20% in the Elderly Reception in Hillerød.

Shifts are in rotation, primarily

• Day and evening shifts or
• Day and night shifts

Every 3rd weekend is worked, plus 2 additional weekends per standard period.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement.
