About the position

As a nurse at Poppelhuset you will be responsible for supporting and developing the health-care provision in close collaboration with management and staff.

We aim to be among the best residential facilities when it comes to prevention, documentation and patient safety. Therefore we are looking for a nurse who not only performs nursing tasks, but who also is passionate about teaching, developing and raising the overall health-care level in the organization.

This position is a unique opportunity to have real influence on the health-care direction and quality at Poppelhuset.

We are looking for a committed and professionally strong nurse who wants to be a central key person in our work with health-care quality, patient safety and competency development.

The position is normally 37 hours per week, but we are open to a lower number of hours if desired.

Your main tasks will include

Work systematically with the 12 nursing disciplinary problem areas and ensure high documentation quality.

Be a superuser in Nexus and support colleagues in correct documentation and use of the system.

Ensure prevention and support the organization's work with inspections by the Danish Patient Safety Authority.

Teach and guide staff in FSIII and health-care documentation.

Understand and follow up on further delegations of health-care tasks.

Teach staff in preventive care and health-care interventions.

Identify and act on early health risks among citizens.

Actively work with unintended incidents (UIH), including registration, analysis, learning and follow-up.

Contribute to the implementation of new workflows, quality improvements and competency development.

We are looking for a nurse who

Is a licensed nurse.

Has experience with the social sector, the elderly sector or residential facility.

Has strong competencies in health-care documentation.

Ideally has experience as a superuser in Nexus.

Thrives with teaching, sparring and guiding colleagues.

Can work independently while creating buy-in around professional initiatives.

Focuses on prevention rather than firefighting.

Sees quality, patient safety and learning as a natural part of everyday work.

Working hours

The position is primarily located on weekdays

Monday to Friday from 06:30 or 07:00 to 14:00

As part of the introduction, training and maintaining knowledge of the citizens, you are also expected to participate in personal care and pedagogical support from 07:00-09:00.
