Nurse sought for newly created position at Klarup Nursing Home

We are looking for an engaged nurse who wants to help create safe, meaningful and professionally strong pathways for residents at our nursing home. It is a new type of position, where you have the opportunity to bring your entire nursing professionalism into play – both in daily practice and in complex or acute situations – and at the same time become part of a close, cross-disciplinary collaboration around the residents.

Your role as a nurse

Here you will not merely have a job, but an important role in a professional community where we support each other, share knowledge and develop new ways of collaborating for the benefit of those we are here for. As a nurse you will be an important part of ensuring high professional quality, strengthening clinical quality in care, and setting the direction for the interdisciplinary collaboration – so the residents are met with an effort that is coordinated, qualified and tailored to their needs.

As a nurse at a nursing home you will work closely in small clusters with nurses at neighboring nursing homes. You will become part of an ERFA network, where you, together with other nurses, have professional sparring and competence development.

Klarup Nursing Home is a new nursing home that opens on November 2, 2026, with space for 60 residents distributed across 5 units, of which 3 units will house residents with dementia. We are expanding, and therefore we need one more nurse.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Perform complex and specialized nursing in close collaboration with other professional groups
• Assume clinical leadership and ensure coherence in resident pathways, e.g. at admission, hospitalization and discharge
• Support colleagues’ learning and professional development through sparring and knowledge sharing
• Document and communicate nursing observations and interventions in accordance with applicable guidelines
• Contribute to the development of the professional environment and the implementation of new knowledge
• Participate in preventive work through early detection, triage and collaboration with the nursing home physician, etc.

We are looking for nurses who

• Are a licensed nurse with experience in complex pathways
• Work independently while thriving in a close interdisciplinary collaboration
• Want to contribute to a learning environment and professional development, e.g. through teaching or bedside mentoring
• Have the courage to take clinical leadership and coordinate actions with the resident in focus
• Have an open and positive view of people, good humor and the ability to maintain overview in a busy everyday life
• Can navigate in the care system CURA – or are willing to learn it
• The position requires that you have a category B driving license; it is an advantage to have access to your own car

• This is a permanent position, initially 37 hours/week
• Shifts are primarily day hours on weekdays, but with the possibility of evening and weekend work.

Salary and terms of employment

You will be employed at the requested nursing home, reporting to the respective nursing home manager. You will also be organized in a geographic cluster, where you will have both a professional community and will help each other across, e.g. during holidays, illness, courses, etc.

The position is intended to be filled by December 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The employment is in accordance with the current collective agreement for district nurses and health visitors (70.01) concluded between KL and Danish Nurses Organization.
