Nurse wanted for gynecological outpatient clinic – re-advertisement

We are re-advertising the position, as we are still looking for the perfect colleague for our gynecological specialty. We are looking for a nurse who wants to become part of our community and who is passionate about close patient contact, the professional responsibility and the opportunity to develop within gynecology and urogynecology.

We are seeking a nurse for a permanent position in our gynecological outpatient clinic with employment from January 1, 2027 or by agreement. The position is initially 37 hours per week, but a lower number of hours can be agreed.

About Ambulatory 2

Ambulatory 2 is a surgical outpatient clinic where we perform examination, treatment and follow-up of patients within gynecology, urology, parenchymal surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, wound care and medical record documentation.

We are 13 nurses, each with our own specialty, and work closely with doctors and secretaries in a multidisciplinary environment. We place great emphasis on good collegiality, where cooperation, humor and helpfulness are a natural part of everyday life.

The position is primarily associated with the gynecological specialty with a particular focus on urogynecology.

About the position

In the gynecological outpatient clinic we evaluate and treat women of all ages with both general gynecological and urogynecological issues.

You will assist with gynecological examinations and minor procedures and participate in patient pathways within general gynecology, including medical abortion.

A large part of the position involves nursing care for women with urinary incontinence, prolapse and other urinary problems. You will have independent nursing consultations, where you, among other things, guide patients, perform flow measurements, bladder scans, fit and monitor pessaries and participate in the assessment and follow-up of urogynecological patients.

We are in the process of expanding and developing the urogynecological specialty in the outpatient clinic and therefore have a strong focus on strengthening our competencies in this area. The most important thing is that you have an interest in the specialty and a desire to develop your skills. In time there will be opportunities for further education as a continence nurse.

The position also includes medical record documentation and preoperative preparation of patients. In the outpatient clinic we are responsible for preparing all elective patients who are to undergo general anesthesia. This involves informing the patient about the operative course and what they can expect before, during and after the operation. Medical record documentation takes place in close collaboration with the junior doctors and is an integral part of your work to ensure a safe and coherent patient pathway.

Self-management

At Ambulatory Clinic 2 we work with self-management.

This means that daily operations are planned and developed by the nurses in collaboration and in close cooperation with the surgical chief nurse. We therefore share responsibility for both quality, development and work environment.

We are therefore looking for a colleague who wants to take responsibility, contribute ideas and be an active part of the development of the outpatient clinic.

• Has an interest in gynecology and especially urogynecology
• Wants to develop your competencies within continence nursing
• Works independently and keeps an overview

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:15.

You will also be part of a fixed on-call rota in the ward with four shifts in a 12-week norm period. On-call placement is agreed individually based on your competencies and experience.

If needed, the hospital can assist with temporary accommodation.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the collective agreement for non-management staff in the Sundhedskartel's area.
