Nurse with special expertise sought for the Clinic for Psychiatric Assessment, Psychiatry

We need a nurse for assessment in outpatient psychiatry at Hospital Unit Midt, which covers the municipalities of Skive, Viborg and Silkeborg. The position primarily applies to the clinic in Silkeborg.

Clinic for Psychiatric Assessment receives all newly referred patients for outpatient assessment. The clinic is new in Psychiatry House in Silkeborg, and the team, which consists of experienced nurses, psychologists and doctors, will be developed and built up over time. We are focused on developing good professional standards and workflows so that we can collectively carry out high-quality assessments. Our goal is to provide our patients with a qualified and rapid assessment, evaluation and diagnosis, so they can be referred to a relevant treatment offer in the department's other clinics.

The work environment is characterized by mutual trust, openness and helpfulness, and Psychiatry House has a strong professional and social community across the psychiatric clinics. Once a month there is teaching for all treatment staff in the house. There are interdisciplinary conferences several times a week with a good and professional tone, with room for input from all professional groups. It is a priority for us that every single assessment is experienced as a team task.

We expect a nurse with the following professional and personal qualifications

• Broad experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnostics
• Particular competences in the assessment of neuropsychiatric conditions with methods such as DIVA 5, TOVA, ADI-R and ADOS.
• Good collaboration skills
• Commitment and desire for professional development for the team
• Experience with Electronic Patient Journal (EPJ) or similar documentation system.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the area.

In connection with the appointment, a criminal record check will be obtained. Appointments are made by Region Midtjylland with service initially at Hospital Unit Midt, Psychiatry.
